Portal preview
The preview portal allows you to see how your event will display to your audience before making the event Live. Login and registration is bypassed by the preview portal which allows you to check branding, engagement activities, pages and streaming video. The preview portal is available from the moment you create an event and can be accessed by any user on your account.
Accessing the preview portal
You can launch the preview portal from two locations:
Dashboard
- Click the dropdown beside the event name
- Select 'preview design' from the Attendee portal section
- A new window will open and load the preview portal
Event menu
You can access the preview portal link from the top menu when navigating an event.
- Click the event name to display the dropdown menu
- Select 'Preview design' from the Attendee portal section
- A new window will open and load the preview portal
Portal display
Alert banner
When viewing the preview portal a red banner is displayed at the top of the page:
"This is a preview portal. Your event is not live and your audience cannot currently see this page."
The alert banner is removed when your event is Live.
Videodisplay
The live video display changes based on your current Event mode.
Scheduled
A notification is shown and the live video is not available.
Rehearsal or Live
The live video is displayed in place.
