Configure the notifications that are sent to your Presenters and Attendees during an event.
Presenter invitation
An event branded notification email is sent once you invite a Presenter to participate in an event. The email notification includes the following information:
- Customisable message
- The event schedule start date and time (including time zone)
- A unique presenter login link
- Links to a Joinin presenter guide
- A contact link to the support email address
Attendee registration
Upon registration attendees are sent an event branded confirmation email containing the following information:
- Customisable message
- The event schedule start date and time (including time zone)
- Calendar invites for Google, Outlook and Office 365
- Login username and password
Attendee reminder
Two event branded reminder emails can be scheduled for the event. These are sent out in advance of the scheduled start date to remind attendees to log on. You can customise when each reminder email is sent. Reminder emails contain the following information:
- Customisable message
- The event schedule start date and time (including time zone)
- Calendar invites for Google, Outlook and Office 365
Reminder 1
This email can be scheduled to be sent from 1 to 5 days prior to your scheduled event start time.
Reminder 2
This email can be scheduled to be sent from 1 to 5 hours prior to your scheduled event start time.
Conditions
- An attendee can only ever receive each email once If you change the notification schedule after an attendee has received that email, it will not be sent again.
- If an attendee registers after an email notification was scheduled to be sent, they will not receive that notification.
- For example, reminder email 1 was scheduled to be sent 3-days prior to the event start and the attendee registers 2 days prior to the event start. This attendee will not receive the first reminder email.
- Reminder emails are not sent once your event goes Live.
- Reminder emails do not include the attendee's login credentials. These are encrypted after creation and cannot be resent. An attendee must check their registration confirmation emails for login credentials.
Reminder emails are sent in batches based on quantity and load and may be sent up to 1 hour after your notification schedule.
