Getting started in the Studio

The Studio is where you manage and create your live event

Elements

On Air & Next video windows

The On Air window is the current stream that would be viewable by your audience and the Next window is the upcoming source that you can switch to.

Switch button

Click to move something from the Next window to the On Air window, there is a drop down menu that can change the straight switch to a cross fade.




Sources

These are the available spots for your selected sources, these may include presenters, media or external streams.



To add a source, select Media or Presenter (depending on which type you'd like to add), the right hand control panel will change to the tab where you can choose the media or presenter, then click the 'Add to Mixer' button.

Panels

The below image shows all the various features of the right hand control panel and details on each are below.



Info

Find all the key information on your event here, further data can be found in the Analytics section of your account. Your event can also started by clicking the ‘Go live’ button within this tab.

Presenters

Invite presenters, manage their activity, add them as a source & message them within this tab.

Media

Upload media (jpeg, png, mp4 etc.) and manage their place in the event. see our article on how to Upload Media

Layouts

Set up various different screen layouts & save them as scenes for use throughout your event.

Scenes

View and mage your created Scenes

Engagement

This is where you can moderate your various audience engagement pieces including Chat, Q&A and Live Polling. See our Engagement features article for more.
